Viasport

The Viasport channels showcase the very best of major sports – over 1,000 live football matches and thousands of hours of exciting live sports.

Pixels & Bytes delivered a news portal with social media integration for Viasport Norway. It uses external API to get actual TV programs from the main Viasport server as well an easy to use admin panel for the content work.

Viasport also had a separate site, Viasport Tour, which ran successfully in 2018. The site featured a tracking system for the travels of Viasport journalists around Europe’s football arenas using Google Map to show current positions and routes in real-time. External API of industrial GPS trackers was used. The system was a cooperation between Pixels & Bytes and ABAX.

The system connected and synchronised various social media feeds. It was a high load and stable solution for many visitors.
